Introduction

This is a page to describe techniques used and lessons learned in the course of the Wakhi Language Documentation project. The scope of the project is to collect hundreds of audio recordings of Wakhi texts, and for 50–100 of those texts to provide time aligned transcription and morphological analysis. At this point, it is looking like there will be about more than 16 hours of texts, and eight and a quarter hours of annotated text (77 texts).

This page began as a way to keep track of what I was doing for my own benefit, but I am gradually expanding it to make it more useful for other people. If you find the information relevant, please send me an email to encourage me to continue.
